The Best Night Prayer, Bedtime prayer, God will protect me

Lord, thank you for the new night

that you give me to rest.

Thank you, God, for your promise that says to me

that when I lie down I'll sleep well,

that sleep time  will be peaceful and without worries.

I beg You Lord, to remove all anxiety

of my mind, calm my thoughts,

that a deep trust in you

give me a deep sleep,

take the fear and the anguish

and instead of that I shall rest in your peace.

My God, forgive my sins,

cleanse me,

that nothing make me to be anxious while sleeping

because You are my forgiving Lord

of great mercy and goodness.

I pray Thee Lord, that tonight

your angels will  be guardians

around my home,

I trust in your power, your strength

and your divine protection. Amen
